Welcome to the latest edition of The Notion Club! Here we bring you the latest tips and resources to help you make the most out of Notion.

6 New Notion Updates and Releases:

It’s an exciting week for Notion users, with big updates released during the first-ever conference.

1. Layouts

You can now customize your database page layout to best present and prioritize selected properties.

Simply hover over any database page title and click on Customize layout to get started.

2. Custom Emojis

You can now upload your own emojis and use them in your page titles or anywhere by using /emoji.

To add a custom emoji, open the emoji picker window as usual, then click the plus button in the bottom right corner.

3. Notion Forms

With Notion Forms, you can now create forms directly in Notion, with responses stored in a database.

Additionally, this also means you can easily visualize your form responses as a chart or convert collected feedback into tasks, all within Notion.

4. Notion Mail

Notion announced a new email app that comes with "views" to customize your inbox to your workflows, just like the rest of Notion.

5. Automations

Database and button automation has been around for a while, but it has now been updated to support more powerful features, including automated emails sent via Gmail and the use of formulas.

6. Notion Marketplace

Creators can now sell templates directly in Notion Marketplace with payments, access locking, and ratings.

Your purchases are also now linked to your Notion account, making it easier than ever to download or re-download Notion templates.

Pick of The Week: Daily Journal

This week, I'd like to share my updated Daily Journal template.

Using the new layout feature, I've cutomised both the entries and journal pages for a cleaner look.

The home page is also now optimized for easier viewing, with features like "On This Day" for revisiting past entries now displayed on the front.
